Handpicked by The Alnwick Garden, the market hosts a selection of handmade, artisan and traditional gifts, and offers shoppers the chance to indulge in festive nibbles and live music played by talented performers from the region in the warmth of the beautiful marquee
WOODHORN WINTER MARKET
Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th December, 10am – 4pm
Enjoy shopping for gorgeous Christmas gifts and special treats at Woodhorn’s winter market held inside the historic Workshop Galleries. Discover beautiful crafts, delicious local produce and gifts to delight your friends and family from some the region’s best makers and crafters. Treat yourself and enjoy a glass of delicious mulled wine as you browse the delightful seasonal stalls.
NEWCASTLE’S CONTINENTAL CHRISTMAS MARKET
17 November to 10 December, 9am – 8pm
The Christmas Market takes place at Grey’s Monument, Grey Street and Grainger Street. The streets will be filled with a festive atmosphere as friendly traders present a range of unique art and crafts products from across the world. Enjoy a currywurst from Germany, waffles from Holland, paella from Spain and crepes, both sweet and savoury from France. Don’t forget to visit the Dutch Bulb and Plant Garden selling a fabulous array of bulbs, trees, shrubs, garden ornaments and bird feeders.
BEAMISH BAZAAR
18 November – 24 December 10am – 4pm
Discover the amazing seasonal sights, sounds, smells and delicious tastes of Christmas past. Find some charming and quirky gifts at the outdoor Beamish Bazaar in The Town park, take home some traditional trinkets, pretty presents and local festive food. If you are interested in something more active, take to the ice on the ice rink and perfect your skating skills or visit Father Christmas in his magical fireside grotto.
