The Lemmington Estate is ideal for walkers with terrain varying from heather moorland to dense woodland and lush pastureland.
An information pack inside the cottage contains a map showing the most interesting routes and circuits along with approximate timings. There are routes for everyone whether you want a morning jog, a stroll to a picnic spot or a half day walk to a norman church and castle.
Within the estate lies one of the regions most popular rock climbing spots. Corbie's Craggs offers 86 named routes with varying degrees of difficultly.
The Craggs are only 15 minutes walk from the cottage and well worth a trip, even if only to take in the expansive views over the vale of Whittingham.
